(Listen to previews of each track here.)

A few artists, such as Owl City or Motion City Soundtrack, at first seem a little out of place in the soundtrack for a Tim Burton film, but the wide range of sounds and styles on this star-studded album will strike a nice balance between the Disney Alice that we all grew up with and Tim Burton's darker take on Lewis Carroll's bizarre fairy tale. And don't worry, the album didn't forget a cover of Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit," performed here by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.

  1. I'm so happy they included a cover of "White Rabbit"!

Leave it to Tim Burton to bring together such a diverse group of artists. :)
